In a nutshell, that is the mantra of family psychologist Dr. Wes Crenshaw. Dr. Wes, author of both Dear Dr. Wes: Real Life Advice for Teens and Dear Dr. Wes: Real Life Advice for Parents of Teens, has trained with some of the masters in the field of family psychology, and is skilled and experienced in addressing a wide array of problems using the natural energy of the family dynamic. He received his PHD from the University of Kansas, and shortly thereafter founded an internship for doctoral students in Topeka. He went on to found the Family Therapy Institute Midwest and served as it's director for 11 years. Currently, Dr. Wes continues to see clinical clients at FTI Midwest while providing forensic services for Family Psychological Services LLC.

Martin works in private practice, specializing in anxiety disorders. She has been featured on Cleveland's Fox 8 TV's Parenting University, at the 2011 American Pediatrics Association Boston Conference, and was a featured interview at the 2011 New York City Book Expo for her book about children with OCD, Stuck.
